Country music singer Luke Combs shares fears for unborn baby: ‘I’m worried’

Luc Combes and his wife Nicole are expecting their first child any day now – and the singer is already thinking about the “pressure” their son will be under because of his famous father.

The country music singer has remained relatively quiet on details surrounding his growing family, but recently opened up about his fears of becoming a father.

Luke admitted that his son’s childhood will be very different from his own, and it’s something that’s been tormenting his mind ever since he found out he had a little one on the way.


“I think how different their childhood is going to be from mine, and it’s like, they’ll definitely have pressure to be my kid, which isn’t something I’ve ever dealt with and not something i know how to handle,“Luke said Taste of country nights.

“I want to make sure we have discussions about these things,” he added. “I worry when they find out about this (it’s Luke Combs).”

Luke and Nicole started dating in 2016


Luke and Nicole – who started dating in 2016 – announced they were expecting a baby boy in January with a cute Instagram post.


the better together The singer captioned the photos of him and his wife: “Here we go! Little dude Combs is coming this spring! Couldn’t be more excited to start a family with this girl. It’s going to be one hell of a ride.”


Nicole also shared the same photo carousel on her own Instagram page, writing, “Maybe the best year BOY baby combs are coming Spring 2022!! we’re so excited and grateful.”

The couple are expecting a baby boy in May


Meanwhile, the couple, who tied the knot in August 2020 after announcing their engagement in November 2018, revealed they had shortlisted a name for their son but remained mum on his nickname.


“[The name] is discreet, but we are in talks. There is a shortlist”, he said Rob + Holly from Audacity at the Tortuga Music Festival last month, before teasing that the name “rhymes with orange” and “rhymes with purple”.
