The cultural program of Águilas for the beginning of the year is full of interesting events for all audiences

The Town Hall of Águilas presented its quarterly cultural program for the first three months of this year, including a series of dance performances, concerts and exhibitions. Here’s what’s happening in Águilas in the coming months:

January

The cultural program in Águilas began last Saturday with the play “Castelvines & Monteses” by the Barco Pirata company. On January 28 the city will host the 5th Promúsica concert, and on January 29 there will be a children’s musical “Musical Tribute to Cantajuegos”.

February

In February there will be a dance festival “Segunda piel” (“Second skin”) by the Mercedes Ruiz company, which will be held on Friday 11. Also in February there will be the exhibition “Enfermedades raras” from February 11 at 28, and the 6th concert of Promúsica on February 19.

March

March will see the inauguration of the “Transition” exhibition by Ariel Montalbán, which you can see from March 4 to 25, as well as the 7th Promúsica concert on March 5, the Carnaval Sinergia dance festival on March 6 and the exhibition collective “Miradas de mujer” (“A woman’s gaze”) from March 8 to 27.

The Águilas Culture Councilor reminded anyone wishing to attend any of these events that “culture in Águilas is safe and all scheduled activities strictly adhere to the anti-Covid protocol”.

Throughout the year, the tourist office organizes monthly guided tours and the Railway Route, which explores the railway history of the city.

The tourist office is located in Plaza de Antonio Cortijos, a short walk from the seafront and Plaza de España, a cool, shady space to have a coffee.
